No Excuses…

It’s my heart’s desire to share stories, words, and revelations each and every Tuesday that will impact your lives for days to come. Some weeks are more challenging than others and most of the time it’s due to poor planning on my part. This week would be one of them but for those that know me they know that I don’t do anything halfway. I give 100% to everything that I set out to accomplish or take part in and the Bold & the Fabulous is no different. So as the clock winds down and Wednesday is just a few hours away I’m pulled to leave just a few words. Even though I know that I’m not perfect, I still aim for perfection in everything that I try my hand at. Why?? Because I serve a perfect God and I finally have a revelation that I represent more than myself. My life is not my own and if I’m going to do this Christian walk, I’m going to give it 100% of me. The first part of my adult life, I was riding the fence. Too afraid to fail at this walk so I only committed to the parts that I knew I could conquer. I never wanted to put my life on a pedestal in case I messed up and caused someone else to stumble in their own faith walk. God revealed to me that I was placing too much weight on my own ability. I am human, I don’t have it all figured out, and I’ll make many many many mistakes along the way. As long as I don’t give up on myself and continue to seek God, I’ll make it. For all the doubters, the ones who knew me when, and those waiting for me to fail… all I can say is watch my fruit!

Matt 7:17-20 reads: “So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize the by their fruits.”
