At this point in my life’s journey, there are many uncertain areas. So many directions I could go but fear of failing and losing everything takes its hold and I stand still. It’s like I’m paralyzed sometimes. So on this journey of self-discovery, I often get into His presence to find comfort, peace, and direction.
Some readers may be surprised that the ladies of the BOLD and the FABULOUS speak openly about their fears and uncertainties. It’s important that I’m transparent so that this faith walk doesn’t get sugarcoated. It’s not for the faint at heart. In a world of Hollywood fairytales, it’s vital that believers present the real. I’m so tired of “religion!” Enough with all the routine. Let’s share our faith by our lifestyle. In every faith walk, there are storms. The Bold & the Fabulous ladies go through storms. We’re all overcomers and here are a few reasons why…
Psalm 119:89-96
“What you say goes, God, and stays, as permanent as the heavens. Your truth never goes out of fashion; it’s as up-to-date as the earth when the sun comes up. Your Word and truth are dependable as ever; that’s what you ordered—you set the earth going. If your revelation hadn’t delighted me so, I would have given up when the hard times came. But I’ll never forget the advice you gave me; you saved my life with those wise words. Save me! I’m all yours. I look high and low for your words of wisdom. The wicked lie in ambush to destroy me, but I’m only concerned with your plans for me. I see the limits to everything human, but the horizons can’t contain your commands!”
Encourage yourself and know that God’s Word never fails. Hard times will inevitably come but we win! We only fail by allowing our fears to outweigh it. Let me caution you as I caution myself to push through all the fears and connect with the voice and plan that God has for your life.
Let this scripture settle in your heart so that you understand when you’re held accountable and where that accountability lies.
Luke 12:47-48
“The servant who knows what his master wants and ignores it, or insolently does whatever he pleases, will be thoroughly thrashed. But if he does a poor job through ignorance, he’ll get off with a slap on the hand. Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities!”
So get moving, get with the plan that God has, and by all means take responsibility for your journey and your happiness!!!
