Prepare Yourself

There’s nothing like having someone in your life that pushes you to go beyond where you think you are ready to go. I’m fortunate to be under the leadership of Pastors Mike and Dee Dee Freeman who consistently and unashamedly teach their partners how to live life God’s way. This past Saturday was no different. I attended Pastor Dee Dee’s “Women Walking in the Word” meeting and the lesson was on preparation. I could get into all of the details of the lesson but I’d rather just get to the point… Continue reading “Prepare Yourself”

Searching for My Set Place: Entry 1 – July 8, 2007

Lessons from July 8, 2007

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to attempt to bring you along the journey I had with over 400 other women in a remote town of Maryland for this year’s  “You’re Amazing” Women’s Advance/Retreat. God’s presence was so overwhelming in that atmosphere that you couldn’t help but leave there refreshed, renewed, and empowered to take your walk to another level. We were there for three days enjoying speakers, an anointed praise team, social activities, and simply being away from the mundane routine that so many of us fall into on a daily basis.
