There’s nothing like having someone in your life that pushes you to go beyond where you think you are ready to go. I’m fortunate to be under the leadership of Pastors Mike and Dee Dee Freeman who consistently and unashamedly teach their partners how to live life God’s way. This past Saturday was no different. You’re Amazing Pt.2 “Stay the Course”

Okay so, it’s been a few weeks since the Women’s Advance I mentioned in my last blog and let’s just say that things have been taking off like rockets in my life. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING, that the speakers imparted into my life has shown up in some form or fashion… and this doesn’t mean it’s been all good things. Many of their lessons included warnings that the enemy’s job is to DESTROY you and will show itself as soon as you leave a “safe” environment. But what’s funny is that I didn’t have to leave the Advance to see him in full force. But I’ll save that little piece for the end. For now, I’d like to speak on two areas that forever changed my life and my thoughts on where I am in my current state.

YOU’RE AMAZING PT.1: “BOTTLE IT UP”

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to attempt to bring you along the journey I had with over 400 other women in a remote town of Maryland for this year’s  “You’re Amazing” Women’s Advance/Retreat. God’s presence was so overwhelming in that atmosphere that you couldn’t help but leave there refreshed, renewed, and empowered to take your walk to another level. We were there for three days enjoying speakers, an anointed praise team, social activities, and simply being away from the mundane routine that so many of us fall into on a daily basis.
